Alice`s Family Restaurant in Baudette

We enjoyed our breakfast at Alice's, and the menu is correct: the pancakes are HUGE! The coffee is great, and the service was good.

We sat down at 7am. Waitress was talking to customer mike. She gave him free food to go. Then gave us menus. We ordered 4 coffees and 5 waters. After waiting 15 mins... we left. She was busy talking to the only other customer in the building... about medicine and insurance. Waitress looked and acted very lazy with a horrific appearance. Sad to say we will never return... and strongly advise others to as well. Best bet is to find someplace else to find.

Slow service!

Great service and food.

After being there about 10 min the waitress finally brought menus, then never returned. We left after about 25 min of waiting to put an order in and no, it was not busy.

Nice family restaurant. Breakfast was very good. Biggest pancakes I've ever seen!! The wait for the food was a little long, but out server was friendly.

We stop regularly on our fishing trips. Never disappointed. Biggest pancakes around.

Enjoyed our breakfast, but were disappointed early in the week when we were looking for a evening meal and found out that they close at 2 in the afternoon.

Alice's is a wonderful place in town to get a great breakfast! We start out every Rainy River fishing trip with Alice's and it never lets us down!

Service was up to par, Had the fishermen burger. The patty was boring, girlfriend had the Walleye sandwich which was excellent, fries were good as well. If you like bolder coffee, you won't like the coffee here.

The food was cooked perfectly, the restaurant was clean. Our waitress is awesome, very friendly, and great service.

Came here after a weekend at Wheeler's point. Giving small business over Corp our money we decided to stop. Average breakfast, good price for the most part. What irritated me about this visit was our waitress. The whole family has dietary restrictions and needs, and making our usual requests and asking specific questions, she seemed to get irritated. The best part was our booth being only feet from the kitchen service window and listening to our waitress not only complain about our requests, but tell the cook, "yeah, I just wanted to smack her." As she proceeded to look directly at me, realizing I was already looking at her.Rude!

The biscuits and gravy is delicious, the pancakes are HUGE, and the coffee is strong!

I have been here a number of times over the years when visiting. I have never been disappointed, great breakfast place.
